Description of company activities

Wrocław University of Technology is an autonomous technical university, a university research institution. Its mission is to shape creative, critical and tolerant personalities of students and PhD students and to guide the development of science and technology. The university, in the service of society, pursues its mission through: inventions and innovation, the highest standards in research, the transfer of knowledge, the high quality of education and freedom of criticism respecting truth. Wrocław University of Technology as an academic community is open to everyone, cultivates university values and traditions, comprehensive cooperation with other universities and strives for an early place among the universities of Europe and the world. Today's Wrocław University of Technology is the heir to the material achievements of the German Königliche Technische Hochschule Breslau and the intellectual and scientific University of Lviv University of Technology. Wrocław University of Technology has been operating since 1945. Its creators and organizers were Lviv and Warsaw scholars. Since its inception, it has been an important centre of technical education. Today, it belongs to the largest and best polytechnics in the country - in 12 faculties, in the Study of Basic Education and in 4 Outer Space Centres (Bielawa, Jelenia Góra, Legnica, Wałbrzych), more than 32,000 students are educated under the guidance of 2,000 academic teachers. Education at European level is not only appreciated in the country but also abroad. The university allows students to learn according to both standard programs and allows to choose individual courses of education. Students can create their own specialities. The revived contacts connect the university with many teaching and research facilities around the world - from Europe to America. Thanks to the signed partnership agreements, students and employees of Wroclaw University of Technology have the opportunity to study abroad and participate in joint research projects. The university participates in the implementation of the following scientific programmes: LLP-Erasmus, Erasmus-Mundus, 7th Framework Programme, Leonardo da Vinci. In addition, there are many student organizations and associations at the university. It is in these that students have the opportunity to develop their scientific and creative passions. The profile of this activity is very diverse and depends solely on the imagination of students. The global level of research carried out by university staff and well-equipped laboratories have resulted in cooperation with many national and foreign companies. Research projects are jointly carried out under the agreements. Students, on the other hand, have the opportunity to do internships, internships or to carry out the subject of diploma work in branches of renowned companies around the world.
