On 30.11.2011 in Wrocław, under the aegis of the Minister of Economy, a conference took place from the series "Polish Clusters and Cluster Policy". The Wrocław edition is primarily a discussion about effective management of cooperation links within clusters and trade fairs of products and services of clusters of our region. One of the participants of the conference and an expert in the discussion on clusters were DPIN representatives representing the Cluster of Innovative Technologies in Manufacturing - CINNOMATECH.
Polish Clusters and Cluster Policyis a project of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and includes the implementation of 16 conferences together with exhibitions held in each voivodship.
The aim of the project is primarily to promote clustering, particularly for its development through good practices.
The first part of the conference included lectures related to the experience of representatives of clusters from abroad. The session was opened by Erik Bunis representing Vinnova from Sweden and talked about cluster cooperation in international projects. Then during the sessions of good practice – development paths, practical experience and cooperation opportunities, they discussed: Bernard Likar from Wood Industry Cluster from Slovenia, Katarzyna Kowalska from TIC BIOMED Cluster in Spain and René Ebert from Geschäftsführer SIBB e.V. in Germany.
The second part of the conference was opened by a representative of the Marshal's Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the Lower Silesian Intermediate Institution - Przemysław Pralat, who spoke about instruments supporting the development of clusters at regional, national and EU level. Małgorzata Chalabala, Head of the Regional Centre for Investor Assistance and Export Promotion, talked about internationalization and promotion of clusters on the example of AutoNet and NICER projects.
The conference was closed by a discussion panel entitled "Directories of cluster development – barriers, challenges, factors determining success" moderated by Jack Drożjal, a cluster expert. During the conference, free catalogues presenting clusters from Lower Silesian Voivodeship, including Cluster of Innovative Technologies in Manufacturing - CINNOMATECH, were distributed.
Parallel to the conference there were trade fairs where clusters from the region presented their activities. Among them was the Cluster of Innovative Technologies in Manufacturing - CNNOMATECH.
