Participation of representatives of the CNNOMATECH Cluster in the discussion meeting on cooperation in the cluster

On 29 November 2012, representatives of clusters from Lower Silesia met with representatives of the Marshal's Office of Lower Silesian Voivodeship at 9 Dunska Street in Wrocław Technology Park. Representatives of the following clusters attended the meeting:
- Energy Technology Centre
- Lower Silesian Renewable Energy Cluster
- Lower Silesian Metal Cluster
- Innovative Cluster of Generation and Energy Use in Mega and Nano Scales
- CINNOMATECH Cluster
- SIDE Cluster
- NUTRIBIOMED Cluster

The main objective of the meeting was to create the conditions for representatives of clusters from the region to have an opportunity to better, get to know each other and exchange experiences they had acquired during co-ordination with a cooperation link, and to establish a dialogue with representatives of the UMWD on building a long-term cluster relationship – representatives of the region, serving the development of smart specialization.

At the meeting each of the representatives had the opportunity to present their cluster, its activities, achievements and obstacles encountered. Participants were mainly interested in the form of legal personality and financing, which is implemented in individual clusters and what their achievements are.

In most clusters, part of the livelihoods are membership contributions, which for coordinators show that members see the sense of operation and development of the cluster. The second important pillar is funds from both regional and nationwide projects. Two clusters are also supported by agreements between partners in the cluster, depending on the size of the contract at different percentages. The participants also stressed the importance of support from the coordinator in the operation of the cluster.
