Joint business projects, facilitation of trade and cooperation in the implementation of new technologies and innovation constitute an agreement signed in Brest, Belarus, during the business mission of entrepreneurs and local authorities from Lower Silesia. Its signatories are the Lower Silesian Agency for Economic Cooperation and the administration of the Belarusian Free Economic Zone Brest. The mission was organized jointly by DAWG and UMWD.
Our mission was focused on export opportunities and business activity in the Brest Zone. We visited Black Red White and Profile VOX plants located there – one of several in the zone with Polish capital. Our entrepreneurs are interested in this place as opening the way to the Eurasian Economic Union – the 180 million market.
The agreement signed by the DAWG will allow, among others, to exchange information about companies interested in import and export, joint organisation and partnership participation
in trade fairs, trade exchanges and conferences. Lower Silesian entrepreneurs will also be able to benefit from facilitations in visa procedures and are to be informed immediately about the revision of the Belarusian internal rules on the international economy.
