Ordinary General Meeting of Members of the Innovation Technology Cluster Association in Manufacturing

On 17 May 2013, in Karpacz, Hotel Mieszko, the Ordinary General Meeting of Members (ZWZC) of the Association of Innovative Technology Clusters in Manufacturing was held, which accompanied the symposium of the Association of Polish Engineers and Engineers, a branch in Jelenia Góra, entitled “Production Engineering - Innovation”.

The Symposium was divided into two parts, and this was how the first discussion on production engineering focused on methods and techniques in product development in the company, industrial scanning, industrial scale laser application or vision systems in quality control. In the second part, however, the main topic was the technological management of the company. Finally, participants got acquainted with the latest trends in CNC machine tools, tools and selected technologies - company proposals.

After the symposium was closed, the Ordinary General Meeting of Members of the Association of Innovative Technology Clusters in Manufacturing was held, convened in accordance with the Statute of the Association, in which only members of the Cluster participated. It was opened by the Vice President of the Management Board of the Association - Mr Jarosław Chrobot, who welcomed the participants and presented the agenda. During the ZWZC, it approved, among others, the activity and financial report for 2012 - the profit was allocated to statutory activities, the Audit Committee. The meeting also granted discharge to the Management Board.
The Management Board then presented the directions and budget of the Association for 2013. First of all, the actions included in the proposal for funding the public task n. "Center of innovative competences of members of the CNNOMATECH Cluster for intelligent specialisation of Lower SilesiaIt’s okay. ”
During the free motions discussed the employment of the procurement manager in order to activate the activities of the Association. This would be projects implemented jointly by cluster members. The team members will first consider the common needs and possibilities of generating a product or service.

Association of Polish Engineers and Engineers (SIMP) is a voluntary democratic, self-government and sustainable social utility organization, which brings together about 10,000 engineers and technicians of all specialties and related professions. The SIMP pedigree dates back to 1926.

The basic legal document governing the activities of the SIMP is the Statute, the current content of which was adopted by the XXXII General Meeting of the SIMP Delegates on 16 October 2010.

In addition to the Statute, the second important document is the "Simp IX Decade Programme Declaration", which the XXXI General Meeting of the SIMP Delegates adopted on 22 October 2006. It is an improved and updated version of the "SIMP-2000 Ideowo-Programmation Declaration" - adopted in 1996 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Association.
The Association is headed by the General Board, which is chaired by the President of SIMP - Andrzej Ciszewski during the 2010-2014 term. The full list of members in office in the Association authorities can be found on the Association's website - the "SIMP Authority".

Organizationally, SIMP consists of 48 branches and 21 sections and scientific and technical associations of a sectoral nature (e.g. Welding, Energy, Hydraulic Control and Drive, Scientific and Technical Society of Machine tools and Tools, Society of Polish Shippers of KORAB).
The statutory activity of the SIMP, which focuses on NOT technology and mechanics' homes, supports a network of over 80 business centres, carrying out engineering work, mainly in the field of mechanics.

SIMP is the publisher of 7 scientific and technical journals. The oldest magazine is “Mechanic”, founded in 1909. In addition, the Association maintains cooperation with 4 other journals concerned by the SIMP area of interest.
