Study visit of members of the CNNOMATECH Cluster in Lubuskie Metal Cluster

On 16-17 October 2012, a study visit of members of the Innovation Technology Cluster in Production in the Lubuskie Metal Cluster took place. Cooperation between clusters was first established during the implementation of the project “Development and promotion of the Cluster of Innovative Technologies in Manufacturing in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship”, for which the implementation of the funding was awarded in 2011 to the Lower Silesian Park of Innovation and Science S.A.

The purpose of the visit was to exchange experience and to transfer knowledge and information between links located in two different regions of the country.

During the meeting, members of both Clusters were able to get acquainted with the activities of the link from the same industry, but another region. Such exchange of experience will enable the development of not only an economic and economic system, but also a social system that fosters innovation, stimulates creativity, helps develop and implement innovative solutions.

On the first day of the meeting, two members of the Lubuskie Metal Cluster, the AE Group and Spartherm, were scheduled to visit. The purpose of the visits was to get acquainted with the profile of the activity of these companies and visit their machinery parks. 40 people (19 people from ClusterCNNOMATECH and 21 people from Lubuskie Metal Cluster participated).

On the second day, i.e. on 17.10.2012, a meeting of members of both clusters and a cooperative exchange took place at the Spartherm Fire Institute. The meeting was attended by a total of 38 people (19 from the CNNOMATECH Cluster and 19 from the Lubuskie Metal Cluster). The meeting was opened by Mrs Lilla Jaroń – President of the Innovation Technology Cluster Association in Manufacturing, who welcomed all gathered. Mr Zbigniew Rudowicz - President of Lubuski Metal Cluster took the floor. After the welcome word, presentations of both clusters began. The aim of the presentation was to present the strategy, activity, organisational structure and way of functioning of each cluster. After all the presentations were completed, they were invited to visit the Spartherm Fire Institute, where the meeting was held. The building has 20 beautiful fireplace arrangements and 50 Spartherm fireplace inserts.

The last part of the meeting was a co-operation exchange, which aimed to allow a meeting between representatives of companies from both clusters to establish cooperative contacts. B2B meetings are considered to be one of the best forms of permanent business contacts.
