Educated Technology – Cluster Patronage

The level of training of future business staff depends on the skills and current knowledge of lecturers. From this assumption, the association Centre for Innovation and Development implements the project. "Advanced technology – a vocational teacher improvement programme".

It is addressed to teachers of vocational subjects and instructors of practical vocational training from secondary schools and practical training centres.

The project is based on the development and pilot implementation of vocational training programmes for teachers in the fields of mechanics, mechatronics, motor vehicle mechanics.

The programmes will be developed on the basis of a diagnosis of teachers' needs, in cooperation with entrepreneurs from sectors corresponding to the above mentioned areas of education. This will help to integrate education into the labour market.

From September 2012 to December 2013, teachers will take part in instructional classes in specialised centres, as well as internships in companies using the latest technologies and equipment.

Since the project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund, participation is free of charge.

Participants outside the venue will be able to receive accommodation.

The organiser invites all willing teachers to report participation in the project.

Applications will be accepted from the beginning of May.
